A device in a read-only state is simply unmodifiable. If you haven't used an external storage device before or aren't familiar, you might not have any idea what this error suggests. So I decided to format and then I realize what have happened: For some reason the SSD was full and I cant format him by any means, so I discovered that the drive got in вЂњRead OnlyвЂќ option. I tried this SEVERAL times, resetting bios, cleaning CMOS, plug and replug everything on the computer, changing the bios (this board has 2), updating BIOS andВ absolutely NOTHING worked, at all. The blue screen shows: вЂњSYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTIONвЂќ and after that the PC do not got in Windows by any means, then I tried to change the bios boot options and the result was a black screen with вЂњReboot and select a proper boot deviceвЂќ. The odyssey starts with me getting a blue screen after like 20 minutes with the PC turned on. IвЂ™ve a 3900X in a X370GT7 board, with 2x16Gb Viper Steel 3000 MHz RAM and a RTX 2070 Ventus from MSI and my problematic drive itвЂ™s a EX900 M.2 from HP.
